Why it matters

The sacred intersections of life

A new home. A holy union. The naming of a child. These are not merely events to be arranged — they are thresholds, and the Vedic tradition exists to carry a family across them with steadiness and grace.

Authenticity is the whole of it. Every mantra is chanted as the scriptures set it down, every offering made in its proper order and season. Nothing is shortened for convenience, and nothing is performed that cannot be explained.

“When tradition is performed with devotion, a ceremony stops being a formality and becomes an experience.”

How it works

Four steps, and the rest is ours

Most families have never arranged a ceremony before. You are not expected to know the procedure — that is precisely what Pandit Ji is for.

  1. 1

    Tell us the occasion

Share what you are marking and roughly when. A call follows within a day — no charge, no obligation.

  2. 2

    Muhurat is calculated

Pandit Ji reads the panchang against your birth details and proposes the auspicious windows open to you.

  3. 3

    Samagri is arranged

Choose full arrangement and everything arrives prepared, or take the itemised list and gather it yourself.

  4. 4

    The ceremony is performed

Pandit Ji arrives early, sets the sthapana, and guides your family through each rite as it unfolds.

Altars prepared by hand, before dawn

Every photograph here is from a puja Pandit Ji performed — the kalash sthapana, the rangoli, the havan kund, laid out exactly as the Vidhi asks.

Choosing the day

The right day matters as much as the right ritual

A Muhurat is not picked from a calendar. Pandit Ji reads the panchang against the birth details of the family concerned, then offers the windows that genuinely suit you — often several, so you can choose around your guests.

In their words

Families who trusted us with the moment

Pandit Ji explained every step of our Griha Pravesh in Marathi and English so both sides of the family could follow. My mother-in-law said she had not seen the Vastu Shanti done so completely in years.

Anjali & Rohit Deshmukh

Griha Pravesh · Lohegaon

He arrived two hours early to set the mandap and stayed until the last guest had eaten. The Saptapadi was explained so beautifully that even our friends who had never attended a Vedic wedding were moved.

Sneha Kulkarni

Vivah Sanskar · Viman Nagar

We booked the Satyanarayan Katha on four days notice. The Samagri arrived complete, nothing was rushed, and the Katha was recited in full. Our fourth ceremony with Pandit Ji now.

Common questions

Asked before every ceremony

The questions families raise most often. If yours is not here, ask it directly — Pandit Ji answers personally.

All questions
How far in advance should we book?

Two to four weeks for a Vivah or Griha Pravesh, so the Muhurat can be calculated properly and the Samagri sourced without rushing. Smaller pujas can often be arranged within a week, and we do accommodate short notice where the panchang allows.

Do you arrange the Samagri, or do we?

Either. Choose full arrangement and everything arrives prepared on the day. Choose guidance and you receive an itemised list with quantities and trusted vendors, which many families prefer when relatives want to contribute.

Which areas do you travel to?

Pune and the surrounding region as standard. Pandit Ji is based in Lohegaon, so Viman Nagar, Kharadi, Dhanori, Wagholi, Yerawada, Kalyani Nagar and Vishrantwadi are all close by — and the rest of Pune is served too. Ceremonies beyond 25 km carry a travel charge, quoted upfront before you confirm.

Will the rituals be explained as they happen?

Yes, and this matters to us. Pandit Ji narrates each rite in Marathi, Hindi or English as your family prefers, so you understand what is being offered and why rather than simply following instructions.
